The producers of "Glee" are taking some serious heat over a sexually charged photo shoot involving three cast members -- with one powerful parents group saying the pictorial "borders on pedophilia."

The Parents Television Council has released a statement thrashing producers for allowing Dianna Agron, Cory Monteith and Lea Michele to participate in a "hyper-sexualized" photo shoot for the November issue of GQ -- despite the fact that both actresses are 24 years old and Corey is 28.

The PTC declares, ?It is disturbing that GQ, which is explicitly written for adult men, is sexualizing the actresses who play high school-aged characters on ?Glee? in this way. It borders on pedophilia."

The statement continues, "By authorizing this kind of near-pornographic display, the creators of the program have established their intentions on the show?s direction. And it isn?t good for families." [TMZ]

Borders on pedophilia? LOL!!! Glee is not even a family show, it's not a TV-G show. You have the actors talking about scissoring, fromunda cheese, gag reflex is a gift when you are older, etc.

@ijennaush: We wore our purple with pride today #spiritday :)

can't stop looking at hemo's underwear

Dianna Agron weighs in on GQ controversy...

I?d like to start by saying that these are solely my thoughts on the November issue of GQ and the controversy that has surrounded its release. I am not a representative of the three of us, the show, or Fox, only myself.

In the land of Madonna, Britney, Miley, Gossip Girl, other public figures and shows that have pushed the envelope and challenged the levels of comfort in their viewers and fans?we are not the first. Now, in perpetuating the type of images that evoke these kind of emotions, I am sorry. If you are hurt or these photos make you uncomfortable, it was never our intention. And if your eight-year-old has a copy of our GQ cover in hand, again I am sorry. But I would have to ask, how on earth did it get there? <<< amen

I was a very sheltered child, and was not aware of anything provocative or risque in the media while I was navigating through my formative years. When I was finally allowed to watch a movie like Grease, I did not even understand what on earth Rizzo was talking about!? I understand that in today?s world of advanced technology, the internet, our kids can be subject to very adult material at the click of a button. But there are parental locks, and ways to get around this. I am twenty-four years old. I have been a pretty tame and easy-going girl my whole life. Nobody is perfect, and these photos do not represent who I am. I am also not the girl who rolls out of bed with flawless makeup and couture clothing. I am most comfortable with my hair thrown on top of my head, in sweats, laughing with my friends. Glee is a show that represents the underdogs, which is a feeling I have embraced much of my own life, and to those viewers, the photos in GQ don?t give them that same feeling. I understand completely.

For GQ, they asked us to play very heightened versions of our school characters. A ?Hit Me Baby One More Time? version. At the time, it wasn?t my favorite idea, but I did not walk away. I must say, I am trying to live my life with a sharpie marker approach. You can?t erase the strokes you?ve made, but each step is much bolder and more deliberate. I?m moving forward from this one, and after today, putting it to rest. I am only myself, I can only be me. These aren?t photos I am going to frame and put on my desk, but hey, nor are any of the photos I take for magazines. Those are all characters we?ve played for this crazy job, one that I love and am so fortunate to have, each and every day. If you asked me for my dream photo shoot, I?d be in a treehouse, in a wild costume, war-paint and I?d be playing with my pet dragon. Until then?..

On the same Dianna Agron formspring page

http://www.formspring.me/diannacagron

Q) Have you ever done oral sex?

A) No Way!

Then down the page a little

Q) Believe in sex before marrage?

A) No!

Q) Wow, I really respect you. are you going to wait until marriage?

A) Yes, for sure!

Q) What size bra do you wear? What size jeans do you wear?

A) Bra? Uhm 34B and for jeans 6 or 8. Depends on the style

Q) You seem very sweet and wholesome so I was surprised to see so much skin in GQ. Where you uncomfortable showing so much sin or was it the physical contact going on? or both?

A) Both! It was so unlike me!

Q) Do you think you could get any of your friends like Lea and Naya to help too? Otherwise just you is fine too to help at the fundraiser! We just really want to make a lot of money for the cause, and having you would guarantee it!!

A) Lea (Rachel)wouldn't, Naya (Santana)Definably would. Send me the information and i'll tell you if we're available.

(Warwagon's opinion - Lea sounds like a total bitch)

Q) That's so nice that when that girl/guy asked for you to help you said yes! It really shows that you are not one of those stuck up famous people! How come Lea wouldn't? is she too "cool"?

A) Aw, thank you! Lea likes to save her money for herself. She's not one for charities.

Q) Color underwear you have on? :]

A) Pink

Very classy Dianna.

@warwagon: I'm not sure that's her. Someone asked on if she have pets and she said bird. I remember a while ago she posted on her Tumblr some pics of her dog.

We shall see. One thing I asked her tonight on formspring was if she would be inclined to post a picture of herself holding a piece of paper with her formspring address written on it and then used as her profile picture.

We really have to thank the Parents Television Council for their big stinkfest over the supersexy Glee photos in GQ. The PTC created such a stir over the risqu? pics' innuendo of underage sexuality, they ended up boosting their popularity! It probably would have been best to leave them be. Just sayin'.

Otherwise, Playgirl probably wouldn't now be wanting to do what GQ did for the scantily clad Lea Michele and Dianna Agron, both of whom look like they're ready to film a newer, even sexier version of Lolita.

Now guess which Glee guy the nudie mag is prepared to offer 100 grand to just to take it off?

Hunky blondie quarterback Chord Overstreet, the newbie stud-muffin on the block!

"And he doesn't even have to take it all off," said a rep for Playgirl, which last put Bristol Palin's former boyfriend, Levi Johnston, in their pages. And for the record, we're hearing Johnston didn't get anywhere near the dough Playgirl's prepared to dole out for the 21-year-old Overstreet.

Any other Glee hunks the skin rag wants to get to strip?

"Yeah," said the rep, "that Mark Salling who plays Puck. We would definitely want him. We would be very willing to pay for them both?up to 100 thousand. And it wouldn't have to be fully X-rated, either."

Mark and Chord will be relieved, we're sure. But what about those dork hunks Matthew Morrison and Cory Monteith, aren't they wanted by Playgirl's editors, as well?

"Uh, yeah," we were told. Not exactly convincingly. "But you know, they're more adorkable."

Glee star Lea Michele has reportedly expressed her upset at being given less prominence in the show.

The 24-year-old, who plays attention-seeking prima donna Rachel Berry, is allegedly unhappy that the second season of the Fox comedy has begun to focus on other characters, resulting in her being handed fewer solos.

A source told Star magazine: "In the beginning, she was the biggest star. But some of the biggest episodes have taken attention away from her, like the Britney Spears show, which was all about Heather Morris (Brittany).

"She thinks that because she has a Broadway background, this show was made for her."

The insider also commented on persistent rumours of Michele's diva-like behaviour on set and her reported feuding with co-stars.

"It's not easy being around Lea on set," they claimed. "She has put several people's backs up and it's showing no sign of improving."
