don't be so hard on them, they always show up against man u. I thought it was a good game. It'll take a season or so, but the squad will come together. rebuilding sucks but we need it.

you liking those rumours about hicks buying the team or what?

We won't get better without investment.

Tom Hicks 'buying' the club (via another loan) would be the worst thing that could happen to us, although it seems unimaginable that things could get worse than they are now.

Nope (just jinxed it)

2 great goals tho!

Bebe is on the bench too.

so he's real then? :p

Newcastle 2-1 Chelsea :o

2-1 to Utd now

"I'm not suited to Bolton or Blackburn. I would be more suited to Inter Milan or Real Madrid. It wouldn't be a problem for me to go and manage those clubs. I would win the double or the league every time. Give me Manchester Unitedspacer.gif or Chelsea, spacer.gif it would be the same, no problem." Sam Allardyce. We presume alcohol was involved.

huh.gifyes.giflaugh.giflaugh.gif

"I think I have two skins, sometimes three. I have my own skin, then I have a rhino skin and then sometimes I put an elephant skin over that." QOTW would pay good money to see Allardyce in an elephant outfit?

Blackpool are awesome. Their whole starting lineup's wages put together must be even less than Drogba's alone. 4-0 down at half time and Holloway doesn't change his formation and makes striking changes. Great support.

Blackpool (Y)

I appreciate comments like this from other fans :) And just to let ya know Ollie did change his formation at half time, we went back to our proper formation of 433 instead of having an extra defensive guy :) like we had in the first half. We attack the premiership instead of parking behind the ball like some other teams do when just having been promoted. Yeah some results pay off like Wigan and Newcastle where as other results Chelsea and Arsenal it doesn't pay. But its all a learning curve and we've taking one match at a time and enjoying every piece of it :D

Yeah our fans sing till the end despite what the score is, this is what football is about, its such a shame when you see stadiums with 25000+ fans and you can hear a pin drop.

that's understatement. eh, every liverpool fan was expecting this.

Well I'm not a big Liverpool fan.. but this still came as a shock to me blink.gifwacko.gif Would have been understandable even if you lost to a Championship side but losing to a League 2 side and that too to The Cobblers.. who are a midtable side in League 2.. What's happening to Liverpool?

Chelsea's gone but more importantly and to my pleasure City crashed out laugh.gif They spend £200M and still lose to West Brom.. I feel this season the loses of everyone will fade in comparison to City coz they spent a huge amount.. maybe even more than what all teams in the league spent put together?

So what if anyone lost to anyone.. atleast they didn't spend £200M and still lost like City..

So it's between Arsenal, United and Newcastle and West Ham.. depending on semi finals :p

So how long 'till Hodgson get sacked?

Funny you said this.. coz I just read that the Yanks are "on the verge" of sacking him after OT and last night..

Liverpool are getting ready to replace under fire manager Roy Hodgson with former Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill if their takeover goes through, according to the Daily Star.

...

Hicks is now looking to finance that before the October 11 deadline in order to hang onto the club and Hodgson is fighting a double-edged sword.

He knows the club needs new owners in order to move forward – he will have no money to spend in January if the Americans retain control – but if they are brought out then his job is in serious jeopardy.

Daily Star rolleyes.gif I know.. but stranger things have happened.. If this is true.. right about now Hodgson will be regretting ever leaving Fulham and Martin O'Neill should be thinking of staying clear of this mess..

    • Microsoft's fast coding model MAI-Code-1-Flash comes to Copilot Business and Enterprise by Karthik Mudaliar Microsoft’s recently announced MAI-Code-1-Flash model is now generally available to GitHub Copilot Business and Copilot Enterprise customers. With this support, organizations can have more centralized policy controls and billing while finally being able to use Microsoft’s lightweight, first-party coding model. According to GitHub’s announcement, Business and Enterprise plan administrators must enable the MAI-Code-1-Flash policy in Copilot settings before developers can access the model. Microsoft says that MAI-Code-1-Flash is for fast, iterative coding work rather than the most demanding architectural or debugging tasks. GitHub’s official model comparison page says that the model is great for "general-purpose coding and writing," while it excels at fast, accurate code completions and explanations Microsoft introduced MAI-Code-1-Flash on June 2 as part of a broader collection of internally developed MAI models. GitHub subsequently expanded support to Copilot CLI, the Copilot cloud agent, GitHub.com chat, GitHub Mobile, Visual Studio, JetBrains IDEs, Eclipse, and Xcode, but said support for managed Business and Enterprise customers was still on the way. In Microsoft’s own benchmark testing, MAI-Code-1-Flash scored 51.2% on SWE-Bench Pro, compared with 35.2% for Anthropic’s Claude Haiku 4.5. Microsoft also claimed that the model used up to 60% fewer tokens on SWE-Bench Verified. Do note that these are vendor-run results rather than independent measurements. The model is billed at provider list pricing under GitHub’s usage-based system. GitHub currently lists MAI-Code-1-Flash at $0.75 per million input tokens, $0.075 per million cached input tokens, and $4.50 per million output tokens. For organizations, the main incentive to use MAI-Code-1-Flash is likely to be efficiency rather than maximum capability. A smaller model that responds quickly and limits unnecessary output is quite useful for repetitive agent tasks at scale, especially after GitHub Copilot’s move toward usage-based billing. The "Flash" model is recommended for fast work and not necessarily for huge repositories with loads of context. It's better if teams compare their output with other larger models, especially if they're working on security-sensitive changes and complex, multi-file work.
    • yes AND no the "original" or plain/normal Optiplex 7010 won't be getting any more new firmware updates BUT the Optiplex SFF/SFF Plus {small form factor}, Micro/Micro Plus & Tower/Tower Plus 7010 editions DO get new updates such as this new one   and here are similar guides from the Dell web site for Dell systems: https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000390990/secure-boot-transition-faq https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000347876/microsoft-2011-secure-boot-certificate-expiration
    • AT&T has been spying on US citizens with the NSA for decades.. they just know how to keep it more under wraps.. the evil level is still there.
    • >Improved system sounds when using Windows in dark mode. The story behind that bug would be an interesting one.
