5 Games as Zerg in a row.

My last game i had 200/200 hydras 8 expos and 2200 Resource Collection.

If you use nydus all over the map with hydras as long as your the one having your main hit,

you can tear up their base with a single nydus before they can base race you to death.

Tonight alone I went 10-1 in my game streak.

In case people are wondering there really are map hacks in this game, proof positive:

I'm pretty convinced. I hope he gets banned. Maybe people knew this already though?

Damn, that's pretty blatant. I'm glad that guy put the video together to point it out.

Yea, its stupid. Blizzard are trying to make scouting a not-so-big factor. Damn the casual gamers! :(

Or both things, decrease the damage, but slightly, like 5 or something, not 15, and increase the costs slightly (15~20 minerals/gas).

It's not just the scouting/recon; it's that the Zerg have a built-in advantage there (starting out with an Overlord). Throw in the low cost of Zerg upgrades and expansions and both Terran and Protoss players start off at a disadvantage (especially if they wait and do the recon/scouting properly).

Balance, balance, balance!

Wait wait, why would nerfing zealots help with the early advantage that zerg get towards scouting? What you say doesn't make sense if I'm reading it correctly.

meh?

Zerg have had this "built-in advantage" since SC1

and continued to have it in BW

if it was truly unbalance i'm sure it wouldn't take Blizzard and the entire country of South Korea 12 years to figure it out

Finished it already?

Nope, only the first 5 missions. Though, I play them on all difficulties, starting from Brutal, and then going down (for achievements and for stats (you can see if you haven't played a particular mission on a particular difficulty in the Mission Archive)).

By the way, Lost Viking is a nice touch. :)

Then you really haven't played brutal at all. It gets more difficult as you go on.

haha, psh giga you would prolly end up steam rolling me. I do stupid stuff in game.

Like entire army of just reapers against toss. haha Killmaster and them can vouch for that. Which reminds me

I should post that replay on here for your amusement.

So I won my first placement match. I don't dare play another match now D:

Also, the sheer amount of elitism from players in the higher leagues is astounding. The official forums are just full of "oh but your opinion doesn't matter, little bronze leaguer". I know that you end up with idiots in all games, but Starcraft 2 really does seem to attract them. Really puts me off the multiplayer in general.

haha, Bring it!

Literally i'll hop on in a few and take you on buddy. :)

Duality, the people on blizzards forums are almost all pathetic teeners thinking they are the greatest.

The sad thing is, most of the people you meet who played starcraft 1 and were good.

Are nothing like them.

My clan and I are release day of starcraft 1 till release day of starcraft 2 players.

We all agree that blizzard forums are trash for even talking about the game.

Now only if the mods, made a starcraft area on here.

Hmmmmmm ;).

I look forward to it. :) By the way, how many secrets are there in the campaign? I found the

Tauren Space Marine

. Anything else in it?

theres a secrect mission to unlock

you need to destroy the science facility in the mission media blitz to get it. its located bottom right of the map.

Would you like me to record and upload for you?

hahahahhahahaha, either way thats funny as hell :D

They were BMING me and I tore them up with mass reapers all they had to do was go a single siege tank, or else a few banshees and they could of killed me.

Mass muta at the end was nice except that i had more reapers then they had muta so bye bye zergie base.

    • Linux 7.2's first release candidate gets off to a good start by Paul Hill Credit: Larry Ewing It has been a few weeks since the release of Linux 7.1, and in that time, the Linux 7.2 merge window has been open, where developers can submit their features and patches ready for the upcoming release. That window is now shut, and the release candidate phase has begun so that new features can be tested and further fixes applied. According to the founder of Linux, Linus Torvalds, this week’s release candidate looks “reasonably normal”. Although we are super early in the release candidates, this is a good sign as it makes it more likely that an eighth release candidate will not be needed. Torvalds even mentioned that the update’s stats are only larger than they really are because there was another AMD header drop with a third of the patch just being AMD GPU register definitions, which aren’t big changes but make the code contributed look larger overall. In addition to this, he noted that just over half the patch is drivers, even when excluding the AMD register dump. The rest of the changes are spread out over architecture updates, tooling, documentation, and core kernel updates. In the next week, Torvalds says that he will be chilling out, taking the week “mostly off”. Despite this, he will be reading emails and keeping up with things, so if he is slow responding, now you know why. He said he is hoping for a calm week, but we will just have to see if the second release candidate is actually like that. We should expect seven or eight release candidates before Linux 7.2 is released, so expect it around the end of August. If you missed it a few weeks ago, be sure to check out our coverage of Linux 7.1's release.
