Patch 1.3.0 is now live (with new league icons).

Also, Blizzard decided to remove the Khaydarin Amulet upgrade for High Templars. There goes +25 starting energy. :(

Yeah that upgrade I used a lot!

I still suck at multi-player it just seams no matter what around the time i get my first units ready to go they send an army and wipe me out :(

remember your build orders, shortcut keys and micro/macro well and you will be fine.

if they rush you and you only have 1 or 2 units, send all your workers to defend.

IMO the best race to learn with is Terran, as you can at least learn how to wall in and build some troops before getting wiped out. Plus you can mass their basic unit (marines) and still have a chance

One of the things that a lot of new players don't get is that unlike other RTS games, you need to mass up your production facilities. It's common for everyone to begin with at least 2 barracks, 3 gateways, or if they're Zerg, to quickly expand to two hatcheries with queens.

Considering the campaign is primarily Terran-only, I'd say it's the easiest race for new players. I play as Protoss exclusively. I don't like Terrans and I can't do well as Zerg if my life depended on it.

Anyway, I've added a poll. What race do you play as the most?

You forgot "Random" Anaron :p, I play more with random, then Zerg.

It was already there. :ninja:

Speaking of this game, anyone want to play Left 2 Die? I played it during the beta phases and now it's much, much harder.

That was one of the four mods at BlizzCon 2010 right? The name is really familiar. I haven't tried it or any non-standard map.

So I'm curious to know, I haven't played much and I don't see the reasoning behind it. Why is it that only terran siege tanks seem to do friendly fire? Out of all the units in the game that have splash damage it only seems like the tanks have friendly fire so I don't get it.

Am I wrong that only they have friendly fire or am I missing something?

Just apply it to real life thinking :p xD

StarCraft II adds three official custom maps

Blizzard has now officially released three of its promised four new free custom maps for StarCraft II players.

sc2.jpg

The three maps, originally announced and shown to the public at Blizzcon last year, have been in beta testing for a few months, but are now available for all to download, complete with new achievements for players to unlock and display proudly. The achievements for each map are listed on the game?s official web site.

The custom maps include StarJewled, based loosely on PopCap?s puzzle game Bejeweled. Another is Left 2 Die with players building defense structures to keep out Zerg at night. The third map is Aiur Chef, where players collect different components and outrace others to make meals. Really.

I haven't tried StarJeweled or Aiur Chef but Left 2 Die is pretty good. (Y)

Don't know if this has been posted before but I'm gonna post it anyways:

Watch their "When cheese fails" videos. They are quite hilarious.

    • This is weird. Mythos is more unrestricted compared to Fable. Technically it poses more risk!!
    • This is a great thing, I always have issues with Verizon while inside of certain football stadiums due to the saturation and walls blocking signal so a LOS way to connect would be great. Verizon was supposed to be offering sat data this year but I've not heard a word of it lately. Dude is sending rockets into space in a cheap manner, low waste foot print and has a great product with solar/battery tech. We would be so far behind China right now if not for him and a push to get back into space.
    • illegally? Proof of that? Seems you are posting misinformation or well a pure straight up lie cause there is zero proof of such a thing. But I get it...
