Oh and I'm pretty sure I came across my first cheater - Russian guy called USRWRUS or something. 39 kills to 2 deaths. He killed me about 7 times and whenever I watched the killcam he straight out headshotted me with insane precision even when I was come out from behind a corner - his gun followed me direction through the wall :/ difficult to do once or twice even with the muzzle flash red dot but 7 times in a row?

This console or PC? On consoles I'm sure there's an option to turn on the "aimbot" and adjust it so much that it virtually shoots for you.

Well there's not a lot to be done about it, it's such a small map and wherever someone spawns there's virtually always going to be someone directly in front of you. It can only be fixed by making the map bigger...which isn't going to happen.

Rust was better on MW2.

True

Yay fixes :)

I hadn't got the entering into private matches when searching for player matches bug until tonight. It was weird looking for a wager match and then suddenly I'm being prompted to choose and sniper rifle on friggin Nuketown. Which idiot set that game up? At least its getting sorted.

Have they got rid of the ability to jump into the cable car on Summit? first week I saw loads of people inside it, I tried to get in it and its impossible. Don't see anyone in there anymore, might just be me.

So I started the single player last night and played one of the most bull**** part of a video game I've have ever played. You know what part I'm talking about...going down the hill in the Vietnam level...with the barrels...So apparently I played that one part for almost an hour always being attacked by infinite respawns and not understanding why I'm not progressing and why I keep dying. I hear them say something about the barrels so I start to shoot them nothing happens. I spend so much time figuring out where to go and the game doesn't progress. So I look it up online, and apparently I'm supposed to hit X when I'm standing next to a barrel. Total bull****. Where in the game are you supposed to figure that out?

It took me a while to get through that one too. Finally watched a video but didn't follow it. I cleared the left side while what's his face ran with the charge. I then went to the right, cleared that out and then dove into the ammo cache and then popped out and went the left, cleared some guys out and then to the middle just below where you'd think you should go. Did the barrel and ran back, then moved down and did the next one. It took me so long to do it. Now I'm suck on the next mission where you run through buildings, I can't freaking get past the part where you are outside on the roofs. Someone always kills me

The biggest thing that ****es me off about that part is that in EVERY SINGLE SCENE before that, the game basically holds your hand in telling you what to do and even has the big FOLLOW marker above Wood's head. But in the Vietnam downhill battle, nowhere in the objectives list or the o- screen marker tells you anything about barrels. And if you have the volume low and don't have subtitles on, you could miss any dialog about barrels to begin with.

a lot of people were confused and ****ed because the marker is in like the middle of the hill isn't it?

The marker is in front of the bunker in the middle of the trench. That means if you spend 10 minutes fighting down the hill, moving from barrack to barrack and make it to the marker, no scripted event happens. The enemy keeps respawning and you eventually die and keep wondering WTF? I kept making it down to the marker about 10 times before I realized that's not what I'm supposed to do.

That scene drove me nuts. I must have missed the subtitles about the barrels and even my friends at work had no idea until we started talking about it or they accidentally found out when they got near a barrel for cover.

That's another big issue, because it's written in the FPS handbook in Chapter 1: DO NOT HIDE BEHIND BARRELS

LOL

Yeah, it took me about seven deaths, and 15 minutes before I figured that one out, too. The comment about barrels wasn't lost on me either, and I spent almost each time trying to shoot them, or throw grenades at them, etc.. Accidentally brushed against one and saw "X" come up, and realized what I had to do. So satisfying, at that point.

The only parts about as frustrating for me were getting through the Nova 6 gas (getting hit a time or two will make your haz-mat suit leak and kill you), and trying to get "I Hate Monkeys" achievement. In the latter, I think the guns I had were making it more difficult and I couldn't find a new/better gun.

SP is incredibly easy, at least the portions I played. Doesn't feel nearly as difficult as a previous COD.

MP is ok pending on how many people I play with, can't help but feel completely bored when playing it though. The other night I tried playing Headquarters and I just turned it off half-way through a match because my entire team was going for K/D and not even trying to completely objective.

Since you were big into Bad Company 2 this year, you might still be used to the "teamwork" involved with a MP game. But if you're basically lone wolfing it, especially on Xbox Live, every mode is just basically team deathmatch

Beat the game yesterday and I really enjoyed it. As I said earlier I think this game looks and feels a lot better than MW2 does. I really enjoyed the scene at the end of the credits, made me laugh. Multiplayer is fun so far but can be frustrating at times, I like playing domination but I always find myself playing on "Summit" and I would really like to play somewhere else... Oh and the game soundtrack was very good as well as the sound design, the choppers sound so realistic.

Definitely gotta love the Vietnam-era music. That was one of my favorite things, too--though I could have used more of it. ;)

Don't get so upset because the game sucks... it just a game... It in no way affects you personally. People make mistakes.

Don't get so upset that I've called you on the fact you're judging the game based on its engine. Seriously, actually go and play the damn game and then whine about it, it's so easy to tell when you've never played it.
