It's not just you. tongue.gif

Guns just feel better to me with the Suppressor on.

Yeah I have never really been a big fan of the Suppressor and I only really started using it by accident in Core game types as I had my AUG with a suppressor on HC - S&D and forgot to change it over so I had to use it with a suppressor for a round and all I could say was HOLY ****!

The AUG with the Suppressor attachment is a friggin BEAST! Holy Crap I thought the Suppressor was supposed to make the gun weaker and less accurate this thing shreds people to pieces also the Python + Speed Reloader + Slight of Hand Pro = Taking the ****!

Has anyone noticed the Suppressor makes guns twice as lethal or is it just me?

i don't see a difference personally, but Boz things they make them a lot worse.

The commando also has better range imo.

i still haven't tried out the aug, pretty loyal to my commando

the new patches have definitely helped for PC. I can play the game now at normal setting on my macbook and it'll never hit below 30, before with those settings it was 10-15 fps with huge stuttering.

also HC servers are the best.

Yeah the patch for the 360 eliminated almost ALL of the problems that were being had with match making and the party system and the spawning is not nearly as bad as it initially was although still likes to drop you butt naked bent over in front of the entire enemy team at times :p

Also I agree I can't bring myself to play Core anymore it HC all the way especially S&D the only time I will play Core is when im playing with friends that are not good enough for HC! I could not stand HC in MW2 but I love it here (Y)

Well I cant possibly agree with Boz here as I find myself a thousand percent more effective with a silencer on, I have no idea why but this was also the case with the commando before I perstieged I was thoroughly raping with a suppressor on and I genuinely don't know why the guns lose all that recoil and become so effective with that thing on.

And no doubt the commando is way better I just haven't unlocked it yet this perstiege, although I think both the AK's, especially the 47 wipe the floor with just about every single other gun in the game (Y)

i could do prestige, but honestly i have my commando and that's all i care about. my pc guy is already maxed out a fifty for the three/four days.

So what do you guys set up for with commando? I use scavenger, warlord pro and hacker - extended mags and red dot. Does supreessor work on commando like it does for aug?

scout, ninja and warlord pro. i don't being seen ever and i use a silencer.

I don't think a 1.0 is a bad kill-death, to be honest, those are the guys I rather have on my team. Even though I have a 3.10 k/d now, that doesn't mean "Omg he campzorz!" It's actually very sad to see me being on the people who actually still gets the most captures on my team and I don't mind having a team that might look like noobs because of stats just run through people to get the objective.

if i'm around/over 1 i'm happy. I do run and gun like crazy though. more fun that way.

Just played a few missions of the single player campaign and i must say it's really not my kind of game or i'm just getting too old for this crap. Everything is so over the top that it becomes idiotic. The AI is very simplistic and the gameplay is so much on rails, hardly any to no freedom, that it feels like i'm playing Mad Dog Mccree Mad Dog Mccree or something.

It's worth it for the benefits of Ghost Pro.

This. And you can 80% of the time find someone on the other team rocking a silencer on there weapon. And it's always great to kill someone with there weapon, which has there emblem and clang tag on as the final kill with you killing them. :)

So, what do you guys use?

This is my main class:

  • Aug (assault rifle) + Red Dot Sight
  • China Lake (launcher)
  • Ghost Pro
  • Sleight of Hand Pro
  • Ninja Pro

And my secondary class:

  • Spectre (SMG) + Grip
  • Makarov (pistol) + Extended Mag
  • Lightweight
  • Sleight of Hand Pro
  • Ninja Pro

I use the main one for maps with large open areas like Firing Range and Crisis. I use the secondary class for maps with smaller areas like Havana and Nuketown. It's surprisingly effective in close quarters combat. For both classes, I use the following: Semtex, Concussion, and Claymore.

    • Thank god they got rid of the disgusting looking sidebars, and the corner radius looks much better, too. Two things I hated on day one, and never got used to.
    • JetBrains launches Rider 2026.2 EAP 5, bringing several AI improvements by David Uzondu JetBrains has released the fifth EAP version of Rider 2026.2, bringing a faster startup flow with the new non-modal startup screen and quality-check hooks for Claude Code and Codex. In the latest EAP release, Rider now has newly bundled "quality-check" hooks that run background tests on code edits before the external agent proceeds. For example, after Claude Code rewrites a class, Rider immediately triggers a PostToolUse hook that analyzes the code for syntax errors and formatting warnings. It then passes those findings back to the model as feedback, allowing the agent to fix its own output before finalizing the task. If Rider detects compilation errors, the IDE prevents the agent from treating the task as complete, while minor formatting warnings simply help guide the model toward better output. The "Explain with AI" feature can now tackle tricky build errors directly from the console, helping .NET developers who frequently wrestle with multi-targeting failures and MSBuild errors. JetBrains introduced Explain with AI back in the 2024.1 release cycle. With this feature, instead of forcing developers to copy long diagnostics into a separate chat window, Rider now lets you trigger these explanations directly from the error source. In similar EAP news, JetBrains recently opened the first EAP for IntelliJ IDEA 2026.2, with features that appeal to both those who are into AI-assisted coding and those who prefer "classic" manual development. For manual developers, the release adds revamped dependency completion for Maven and Gradle build scripts, which pulls data directly from the local cache to suggest relevant versions. It also brings the Spring Debugger update, displaying security indicators next to endpoints to visualize secured routes during runtime. In addition to database migration tools for Flyway and Liquibase, this build introduces a Hibernate debugger that shows the exact SQL or HQL queries that the framework plans to execute, letting developers jump directly to the Java code that triggered them.
