I just encountered the worst spawning ever.

Playing Demolition on Radiation and my whole team kept on spawning in one area and the other team was just standing there gunning us down constantly. I just turned off the PS3 before I threw the controller at the TV.

I've had enough of Black Ops now. I have to think twice whether I want to play it or not. It's the worst Call of Duty game in the series.

Just had another spawn ambush on Firing Range and Havana. Dying 1 second after spawning.

A few days ago I traded Black Ops into Amazon for $30 credit on their website. Considering I purchased Black Ops from Amazon for $54.99, and got a $10 or $20 video game credit (I forget which one), I would say that is a pretty fair deal indeed, much better then Gamestop. They emailed me a label to ship it through UPS, so they paid for the shipping back, and from the time I shipped it to the time I got the email about having the credit took 5 days total, and I shipped two days after Christmas, December 27th, so that is pretty impressive for sure. I also traded in Halo Reach for $27 andUncharted 2 for $25. All shipped back in the same package. So now I have credit I can use anywhere on their site, not just for video games, etc. So I really may start using their service over Gamestop, no doubt about it.

Yeah, it sucks. It's nothing new though. It was an issue in MW2 during demolition games as well since the spawn zone never changed. I'd literally spawn on claymores, and in between opponents tactical insertions. And if I managed to make it through the claymores and spray, someone would call in a harrier on us. It was 100 times worse when the care package glitch was still around.

That connection error sign makes me want to plant my controller right in the middle of my playstation, they need to sort these problems out once and for all.

For me, it's the spawning that really makes me want to do that. After I respawn, they always spawn/are behind me. You have no idea how many times I've died by being shot in the back tonight. It's ridiculous.

I've just realised something.

I've been watching a lot of commentator videos on YouTube and I'm positive console weapons to a lot more damage than the PC ones.

Nah they don't, its because theater is a lying little bitch, if you watch the same match a couple of times it will be slightly different each time when using theater.

I hope you weren't capturing bases because you were trying to record something.

Look at the score - none of my team were capturing bases so I just gave up and tried to get me some kills.

Also, I've just lost about 15k credits because of a bug. It's like the bug which doesn't save classes except this time I didn't just get reset back to my credits minus purchases..I lost the credits too :x

New video - Domination Nuketown again..testing out the Stoner. Seems good - might be awesome with extended ammo and reflex sight.

My Death Machine skills though

Sorry. I was just a bit bitter over a recent game. I was playing demo and I was trying to get the team together at the last bomb site. One guy/kid told me that I wasn't his coach and that he would "cut me" if I showed up in his neighborhood. Seems like a perfectly sane response to my "coaching".....

Back to your post - I don't think I've ever used the death machine.

    • Thank god they got rid of the disgusting looking sidebars, and the corner radius looks much better, too. Two things I hated on day one, and never got used to.
    • JetBrains launches Rider 2026.2 EAP 5, bringing several AI improvements by David Uzondu JetBrains has released the fifth EAP version of Rider 2026.2, bringing a faster startup flow with the new non-modal startup screen and quality-check hooks for Claude Code and Codex. In the latest EAP release, Rider now has newly bundled "quality-check" hooks that run background tests on code edits before the external agent proceeds. For example, after Claude Code rewrites a class, Rider immediately triggers a PostToolUse hook that analyzes the code for syntax errors and formatting warnings. It then passes those findings back to the model as feedback, allowing the agent to fix its own output before finalizing the task. If Rider detects compilation errors, the IDE prevents the agent from treating the task as complete, while minor formatting warnings simply help guide the model toward better output. The "Explain with AI" feature can now tackle tricky build errors directly from the console, helping .NET developers who frequently wrestle with multi-targeting failures and MSBuild errors. JetBrains introduced Explain with AI back in the 2024.1 release cycle. With this feature, instead of forcing developers to copy long diagnostics into a separate chat window, Rider now lets you trigger these explanations directly from the error source. In similar EAP news, JetBrains recently opened the first EAP for IntelliJ IDEA 2026.2, with features that appeal to both those who are into AI-assisted coding and those who prefer "classic" manual development. For manual developers, the release adds revamped dependency completion for Maven and Gradle build scripts, which pulls data directly from the local cache to suggest relevant versions. It also brings the Spring Debugger update, displaying security indicators next to endpoints to visualize secured routes during runtime. In addition to database migration tools for Flyway and Liquibase, this build introduces a Hibernate debugger that shows the exact SQL or HQL queries that the framework plans to execute, letting developers jump directly to the Java code that triggered them.
