Yeah me. lol. :p

Did you not have any friends that could help you seed the ISO?

I have to be blunt here, I really do like what you're shooting for here, and this project shows a lot of promise, but at some point you're going to have to facilitate the provision of better webhosting that can handle the traffic if you want your distro to be taken seriously. Not intended to be overly critical, but definitely keep up the good work

EDIT: Bumped my max upload to 512 KB/s to try and help do my bit

Oh really? How fast is the downspeed? I am uploading it for direct download now, but if porbably wont be done for a little while.

Hovering around 400 KB/s at the moment, I am so close to completion it's probably not worth giving me a direct download, but I will keep seeding at 512 KB/s for as long as I can

Downloading, once it is done, you guys will see someone from Belgium seeding

Seeding will be limited to 500kbps most of the time (sorry, have some other stuff to seed and setting it to max gives me overall slow network performances :-3 )

Well I got it all installed. Must say it is very windows 7 like in terms of layout.

Some first impressions:

The "Menu" option kind of confused me, until I realized it it literally the "Menu" bar. That's pretty cool, however if you could do it like mac where it is not grouped under one header (or have the option of both) that would be cool. It's extra clicking and searching.

Also, some programs don't have any options under the menu, would it be possible to not have it appear if there are no items to display?

For some reason screen resolution in Virtual Box, with latest guest additions, still only max rezzed at 1024x768, I am not sure if this is on your end, or on the virtual box end. I had it with as much vram as I could put, and 3d acceleration.

I tried to install the Dev Build of google Chrome. I downloaded the .deb file and went to run it. Sure enough it tried to unzip it, so after some googling I found that I had to run dpkg from terminal. That's fine, but it took me forever to find out how to run the terminal had to press like alt+f2 then type xterm (something like that). It would be nice if you could have the Terminal be on the task bar by default (maybe you can and I missed how to do it). Alternatively have it in your Start Menu.

Along with that, when I did try to do the dpkg it started but failed to install, is there known installation problems with some software?

Is the Search not working on the start menu? If I click in the search box it closes the menu. If I type, what I type appears but I can't do anything with it.

I would check for updates and every single time it would tell it it failed to download the repository list and to check my internet connection. The connection was fine, as I was able to browse the internet, and was able to download the 56 updates it did have for me.

This was all stuff I noticed within the first 15 minutes of playing around with it. I may find more if I get some more time to play with it.

Hey, I used Linux Live Usb Creator to make a live boot. I then used the direct install option on boot. I get to the installer fine but I want it to connect to my wireless (WPA2) and I put my key in then it asks me to unlock the keyring. What is the keyring password?

---EDIT---

Looks like the password was password. Might want to announce that.

Hey everyone thanks for all your replies and if iu all could, would you submit your suggestions through the feedback website at bugs.fusionos.net it will make it easier to keep track of bugs and suggestions! Thanks! But feel free to leave them here also so everyone can see them and respond.

- Keith.

I have a seedbox with a connection of 1GB/s, will happy seed it for a while.

I cannot download the torrent due to there is no tracker (DHT is disabled and cannot enable it).

If I have a direct download, I will happy seed it.

I will pm you some information later on a direct download, and thanks to Fus1on a user here on the forums he will be facilitating hosting for direct downloads! Thanks so much Fus1on!

    • Wow, lol.. afaik the feed burner one hasn't been supported for some time, so I am surprised it still works!
    • I usually future-proof the parts that are expensive to replace later. If I'm running new cables, I always choose Cat6 or Cat6a instead of the cheapest option. For switches, I buy one with a few extra ports so I have room to expand. I don't always chase the latest networking standard unless I actually need it. I've found that a reliable router and good Wi-Fi coverage make a bigger difference than raw speed for most home networks. Planning ahead has saved me from doing a complete network rebuild later.
    • Back when I used to watch cable television, I used the mute button continuously... I picked up the habit from my father who was doing that with his decent Zenith TVs back when they made decent products, say 60+ years ago. When cable debuted as "pay television" the scuttlebutt was that television was going ad-free. Hardy-har-har... We dropped Netflix years ago as the services and programming deteriorated. Services that force-feed me ads I don't care to see I tend to shun, but with computers and programmable Internet television at least the ads can either be blocked or else rejected 90% of the time. But some of the ads Google runs are either so bad or so fraudulent that it's hard to believe they are running.
    • That name is kind of disingenuous, they should have called it RTX 5085 or 5090 Lite.
