Start searching reference numbers till you find your State/Area, then go one by one from there.

Also these "Next Day Air" packages all appear to be Guaranteed delivery by 10:30AM local time, so if it's past 10:30AM your time, you likely will not be getting one today.

I'm here in California, but UPS doesn't usually get to my house around 2 or 3PM. Would a delivery by 10:30AM mean that its a special delivery?

I am assuming they are using the cheapest shipping possible so it could take 5-7 days perhaps

They are actually using UPS Next Day Air 10:30AM, which is almost the most expensive possible.

Correct, 10:30 would have been delivered by 10:30 AM local time, these are not shipping ground.

Anyone know how many more days we have of them shipping?

If they have 60,000 units, and they are shipping on average 2500 a day.. then 24 days?

Oh wow, one of these would be amazing, even got a spare 3G sim! Pleaaase ship them to Europe! Anyone in the US willing to pass one on to me, I'll pay for the shipping of course :p ?

Just an fyi California starts at AAC2001289 - AAC2001965

Have all of the ones in California been delivered today? I haven't received one. Still hoping I get lucky & do receive one. Don't wanna go through all the numbers if they all have been delivered.

Resubmitted my app. Is it bad to do it as another member of the household. He has been looking for a netbook for work (so he can use the internet from around the store to look up part information etc) and this would be a perfect solution.

I don't think it's very useful, because if you going to get one today you should have already gotten it, but here is a list of the AAC200xxxx reference numbers and the city they are being delivered to.

I guess it's a little interesting, at least.

Also, it looks like additional packages are shipping today.

Go there, change Ship date to Dec 11th 2010, and start with reference number "AAC3000001"

However it appears these are shipping "GROUND", so they must have wanted to get the first batch out and get some hype going.

It also looks like they are sending more per day now.. Florida started at "600" in the last batch, this time it starts at "1500". And the total number does not go that high yet, I think they are still submitting them for shipping as we speak.

    • I can name 10x that on why not to switch.... It's funny outlook/office are going towards web app wrappers, and then MS is now preaching native apps again.... ugh can we just pick a lane and stay in it
    • Absolutely NOBODY has suggested such a conclusion. I am affirming the sober reality check that AV2's overall market adoption will take longer than AV1's adoption rate -- which, by the way, is the whole point of the article! While PCI-SIG is productive (on paper), other WGs have created all sorts of confusing progress plans that consumers have tuned-out of their improvements... HTML/W3C, USB, HDMI, BT, WIFI (ieee802.11) as a few other groups where spec naming conventions, split progress paths, overlapping ambitions... I'm not critiquing the AV specs group; I'm simply affirming that adoption for AV2 faces headwinds beyond the macroeconomics of it all.
