Devil (2010)

I just got off seeing this movie and I have to say that it was pretty good. Devil was one of the better films I've seen recently (after that awful 'The American').

I've heard from people that M. Night Shyamalan made some pretty good movies in the past but recently done some very crappy ones. This one hopefully will make him do some more similar supernatural thrillers.

I enjoyed every bit of this movie. The cinematography, the suspense, and the characters made it great. I'm a fan of M. Night Shyamalan's movies but I decided to enjoy it as objectively as possible, especially after I had high hopes for The Village (another movie directed by M. Night Shyamalan in 2004).

The movie touches on religious themes which makes sense considering the movie's name. If you're a fan of good cinematography and acting, then check it out. If you're the kind of person that finds the concept of the devil to be silly then this movie might not be for you.

As for a rating, I give it 4/5. (Y)

That's just your opinion. I've seen all those listed above and enjoy every single one of them including Devil. That's fine if it's not your cup of tea.

Just saw Devil yesterday. Pretty good. Nothing spectacular, but it was entertaining.

wow. im surprised you all liked this movie! i just watched it on wednesday night and thought it was pretty awful.

of course they stereotype the latino as the devout Catholic. and then they stereotype the black guy as the "thug" :rolleyes:

M. Night Plottwist is usually in his movies... was he in this one?
