This first shot would've been perfect if:

1. I had upped teh sharpness a bit

2. Bounced the flash better ( nasty shadow on the right side of teh face is because the flash wasn't exactly in the middle )

3. Probably could've fixed things If I shot in raw... but laziness is meh...

This is a great shot! I am trying to figure this out: The frisbee may be flown toward to the girl on left... or the guy on the right threw the frisbee behind the girl on the left...

This picture probably will confuse people on which way the frisbee goes. See what I mean?

Good job on capturing this perfect shot.

Thanks, yeah I didn't find it confusing at all just because I composed the shot and knew what was happening... but someone else said the same thing lol, the girl on the left was posing for me... well I was walking by, looked at her, she looked at me, and we just knew.

So I put up my camera, she made that "pose" and held it for about 10 seconds (I was waiting for the guy behind her to throw the frisbee)

Saw it on flickr earlier and still think it's a great shot. Only criticism I have is the power line running through the one light is distracting!

Thanks and yeah, I was thinking before I took it that it would be nice if it wasn't there, my only solution really would be to throw on my 35mm, and move forward quite a bit, but I wouldn't have got the same perspective, and I was too tired to do all that work

Edit: or if I was any good at photoshop, I could remove it that way :p

^^ Not that hard, in photoshop or lightroom, just use spot heal /clone tool, it would probably take you 2 minutes at most !

IMO, the cable doesn't bother me, what bothers me is that sign in the middle :p it kinda removes continuity for the street.

Haha, well sure, I could do a quick job, but I am no expert, I have done that before, and no one noticed there was a cable there before, but I could notice it was removed, which bothered me more than leaving it. (if I was good at photoshop I am sure I could make it blend in perfectly with no artifacts, but whenever I use a spot heal/clone tool there are little leftovers/imperfections, and it looks weird to me

Not much I can do about the sign ;) but good observation!

I knew some of you guys post pics of the moon but I couldn't because there is no moon around here due to cloudy. We had a thunderstorm nearby a little awhile ago.. Hopefully, I will keep an eye on the moon when it comes around as long as it looks interesting. Great shots, guys.
