marinejld Posted January 20, 2011 Share Posted January 20, 2011 Greetings - Sitting at my desk working away my LG Ally Android phone just announced, "Verizon Wireless" over the phone speakers. I wasn't using the phone and the screen had not gone to sleep yet (10 min time out). I've never had this happen before or heard of this happening. Only apps running are Seesmic, facebook and foursquare. I've had the phone for almost 8 months. Have not been alowed to upgrade to Froyo yet though it is said to be available according to the VZW site. Also I'm in a really good coverage area here at work. I'm on the US network.
