^I do the same when I'm an engineer. The engineers that run away might be equipped with mines though instead of a torch. I've been driving with other engineers in the gunner seat as well and they ran away with the first hit from a tank/RPG/Javelin. Though it's nice when you're driving your tank towards a flag to cap it, get shot almost to being destroyed and then have other engineers fixing the tank while you keep shooting the enemy tank/engineers.

I used to be the engineer that never went out with the repair torch as I was able to get much more points with the mines. Though since B2K I've been running around with the repair torch as I feel I'm much more worth as an engineer while being equipped with it.

Have you updated your Punkbuster lately? Last week there have been 2 important updates that needed to be installed in order to not get kicked without reason any more.

Really? Because I haven't updated punkbuster since BF3 was released and have never once been kicked for a pb related error.

Hey guys, if you're interested here is a set of 4 matches from TGK vs HUI platoon. We are just starting to scrim and get our teamwork going. The game is a lot more fun with some team chatting.

There is Metro Attacking/Defending and Grand Bazaar Attacking/Defending.

And bonus footage, I tried going recon on defense on another game and managed to get this nice flank.

So for the first time since we've had the game, me and four friends finally had a time where we could all play together. I told you guys about the problem when a friend and I tried to join a game, but when there were 4 of us we had absolutely no issues. And it was awesome. We lost pretty much every game, but that wasn't the point for us at this stage, we just wanted to have a laugh.

The other thing that one of those friends and I tried was the coop missions. We ended up doing the first 3 missions on easy...mission 2 was insane considering neither of us have had enough time to get the handling of the helicopter down. Thankfully I was able to pick it up pretty quickly and then it was easy sailing.

Anywhose, we're going to try and make it a regular thing. The only thing stopping us now is that I still need to sort out my Internet connection in my apartment.

Yes? If it saves you from experienceing frustration and tedium? Then hell yes. I think we can all agree that playing while frustrated you don't do nearly as well, which leads to more frustration which makes the game not fun. So yes, leaving when your team is doing bad and going to a new game (or maybe just stop playing for a while) can make the game "better".

OK we're just going to have to agree to disagree here and say that we obviously play the game in different ways. So long as i don't get dumb little rage quitters in the match I'm playing then all is cool.

I loved those videos. Literally.

Proverbial literal, only :p

You should post more in this thread and here

Yeah I quit if either team is getting base raped unless is very close to the end of the match. All I'm good for in that situation is racking up headshots for the opposite team.

Just found out I am ranked in the top 1%for resupplies per support! That's my best statistic haha.

Here's the thing - no one else is playing the game for your enjoyment. They are playing the game for their own enjoyment. So what happens if you do get "dumb little rage quitters in the match". Are you going to track them down when they rage quit and give them a stern talking to about what they did wrong or what?

You're attitude seems to imply others care about the presence of anyone else in the game other than themselves when in fact most people couldn't care less if you were there or not. Of course that's not true if you're playing with friends and a group of people you play with often (clan servers and such). But come on man, most pub scrubs couldn't care less. And when you're playing with pub scrubs that's when the situation I'm talking about will most likely take place.

If you're willing to sit through extra frustration just to "man up" then that's on you.

Way to read out of context to fit your argument.

I won't play on servers where people only care about themselves. The whole point of this game is to get a good team on the go and get some great communal tactical thinking going.

Once you have that, the game is so much better. Little rage quitters like yourself are not popular because you ruin the game for a vast majority. Just look at the other replies to your comment for evidence of that (as well as the vast majority of the internet).

Now i'm sure you have a good time playing and i'm sure you're good at the game but so long as we never lay in the same match it matters little to me what you do so long as rage quitters don't become the norm.

The bolded part makes me laugh because you don't know anything about me. Nice job assuming things though.

You assume so much about me just from me suggesting some one not stick around in a server if he continually gets stuck in spawn rape situations with bad teams. You put a smile on my face, thanks!

Okay you two. Enough.

One of you doesn't seem to be having fun when the team is loosing or something like that and he wants to quit and other wants to stay until the end.

I dont see a problem. Move along and have fun.

Personally, I don't quit. Unless, my team is really, and I mean, really frustrating and noob, I tend to tell them to fight back via chatbox, which obviously doesn't work  .

Nope. I had a team last night that consisted of nothing more than claymore spam and RPGs. Talk about frustrating. Telling them to go after the flags was futile.

No, it's funny because I was just saying to some one, "if you're stuck in a situation that isn't fun, why stay?" And from that, so many people automatically assumed that I'm some sort of big bad rage quit monster. And then proceded to tell me how I'm ruining the game for others and blah blah blah blah. Amusing.

In absolutely extreme cases where your team is getting spawn camped and base raped for a good ten minute stretch, I actually don't have a problem with people who choose to quit the server. Why stick around when you're just going to get killed within seconds of respawning? Your time is valuable, so why waste it for the sake of preserving some misguided and ultimately insignificant sense of honour? There have been a few instances back in the BC2 days where I would stop playing and just read the news on my phone while waiting for the match to end because our team was getting spawn camped so hard. I don't mind an inevitable loss if the team is being given a little bit of breathing room, because at least I'm still having fun in those cases.

You assume so much about me just from me...

I assume nothing. You yourself admitted to being a rage quitter, end of story.

No problem. I'm happy to leave it at that. In fact i said that myself a few pages back :)

Go back and read what I said carefully. I said nothing of the sort. Really, if you're going call some one out on what they're saying you should at least try to understand what they're saying first.

So once again, yes, you are assumig quite a bit, and not only that but lots of name calling too. Because you either didn't bother reading everything I said or you're just reading out of context as you told me I was.

    • WordArt was cool. We now have color fonts as a substitute although Word only supports COLRv0 and COLRv1 (Fraud OS 11 only). The OpenType SVG color font format needs to be supported by Office. Adobe's apps support it
