DigitalE
I loved Simplify Media back in the day. I can't seem to find anything like it now, though. I'm looking for something that will allow me to stream my music from my computer to my phone over the Internet (not just LAN). It has to go through some online service and not require port forwarding or any of that stuff since I'm behind a triple NAT and can't configure anything for incoming connections. Any suggestions? andrew_f
Google bought it and are rumored to be relaunching it as Google Music along with the formal launch of Honeycomb. Perhaps M-Spot will suffice for now?
DigitalE
Yeah, I knew about the Google acquisition pretty much day 1 since I used Simplify a ton on my iPhone. Is mSpot really all there is? If I'm gonna have to pay for storage, I might as well just sign up for a subscription service like Rdio..
Xav
Only thing I know remotely like Simplify is SubSonic (subsonic.org) but unless you can do some very minor port magic it's a non-starter.
dotmobi
ZumoCast was a nice alternative, but it's off now. Not sure if Didiom Pro supports Android. http://www.nytimes.com/external/venturebeat/2010/11/30/30venturebeat-no-more-syncing-didiom-streams-music-to-your-69754.html?ref=technology
