D90 and D500 owners look here

I have done a comparison on DP Review between the D90 & D7000. Seems the only significant differences I can see stat wise are:

D7000:

Higher Megapixels

Higher ISO Limit upto 25,600 with Boost

Newer focus system - Nikon Multi-CAM4800 DX

39 focus points compared to 11

Advanced metering

Newer battery

6fps

Thats all I can see from the comparison, would anyone say this is worth the extra cash?

All of those "stats" are pretty significant ;) especially the ISO limit and the focus system/points. It doesn't mean a D90 is bad (it's not, it's good actually), it just means the D7000 is better.

unless he's going to be shooting sports, the focus points won't be a big issue. the only real spec I would upgrade over is higher ISO.

and well coming from a D40, the D90 ISO levels will blow him away anyway :)
