Game developer Carbon 6's American McGee is busy putting his signature touch on another classic children's tale - Oz. The creator of the third-person action game Alice is visiting the lands of Oz in an interactive prequel to the original books that will take players "on a colorful journey through a unique world filled with dozens of interesting characters and stories." Oz is being produced for Xbox and the PC - and is scheduled for release sometime in 2004. The Oz soundtrack is being produced by Media Ventures. A line of Oz toys will be hitting store shelves soon - while a book and film deal are to be announced.
