Apple starts selling refurbished iPhones through its online store

Just in time for the coming holiday season, Apple has now started to sell refurbished iPhones through its online store.

iPhone handsets are being offered at big discounts, making them more affordable and accessible to people. For instance, you can purchase an unlocked 16GB iPhone 6s for only $449, saving buyers $80 compared to a brand new device. Meanwhile, you can also opt for a refurbished iPhone 6s Plus, which will set you back $589 for the base model, a reduction of $110 off the original cost of $699. You can pick from different storage sizes and colors like gold, rose gold, and space gray, to suit your requirements.

However, the promotion does not include Apple's new handsets like the iPhone SE, iPhone 7, and the iPhone 7 Plus, which were only released back in September.

Not only do buyers save on these devices, but they will also get a full one year factory warranty, so there is no need to worry about where to get the devices fixed should any problems arise. Also, the refurbished iPhones come with a new battery, together with a new outer shell.

Lastly, as a notice to those who are interested, Apple notes that stocks are limited and availability is guaranteed once a full payment has been received.
