Dell XPS 18 mega-tablet available for preorder today

Samsung aren't the only company that appreciates that "bigger is better", Dell has ideas of its own too making available the whopping 18" XPS 18 tablet/AIO for pre order today.

Big Tablet? Or lightweight super computer? Seems Dell aren't sure themselves, but in any case it is available for pre order today. The video below, which we posted about last month shows just how large and/or useful this tablet is.

The entry-level Windows 8-based touchscreen model, with a Pentium processor and a 320GB hard drive, will set you back $900, while Core i3 and Core i5 versions cost $1,000 and $1,350 respectively. The 4.85 pound (2.2kg) unit has its own built in kickstand to set the screen upright, the PC can also be used with an optional larger stand for people who want to use it for more old fashioned desktop PC chores.

You can pre-order to your hearts desire and configuration on the US Dell website.
