HONOR has launched its recently announced flagship HONOR Magic4 Pro in the UK today. The smartphone will be available for preorder on May 13, 2022, with a starting price of £949.99. HONOR has also brought Earbuds 3 Pro and the Watch GS 3 smartwatch to the UK alongside its flagship phone.
HONOR Magic4 Pro
The HONOR Magic4 Pro offers an "iconic symmetrical design", improved display, better cameras, and "superior performance". The smartphone works on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 5G Mobile Platform that offers up to 20% CPU, 30% GPU, and 300% AI performance uplifts. 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage complement the newest processors for a "smooth and stable performance".
The display is another major update in the HONOR Magic4 Pro. It has a "Quad-Curved" 6.81-inch LTPO OLED panel with 100% DCI-P3 gamut, 1000 nit peak brightness, and a variable refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz. The ability to dynamically change the refresh rate enables the smartphone to display a smooth image while preserving the battery life whenever possible. HONOR says its latest flagship also has the highest Pulse Width Modulation of 1920Hz to minimize eye strain.
The HONOR Magic4 Pro features a triple-camera setup with a primary 50MP camera (1/1.56-inch sensor), an ultra-wide 50MP camera, and a 64MP periscope telephoto camera. The latter delivers 3.5x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom. Cameras in the HONOR Magic4 Pro can also record 10bit Log 4K video in 60 FPS.
Other features in the HONOR Magic4 Pro include IP68-rated protection against dust, rain, and water (up to 1.5m deep for 30 minutes), plus powerful 100W wired and wireless charging. HONOR claims the smartphone can fully charge its battery in just 30 minutes, and the HONOR SuperCharge wireless charger can get you up to 50% charge in 15 minutes.
Finally, the HONOR Magic4 Pro features a "ground-breaking new solution" that prevents sound leaking for more private calls. The smartphone uses the Directional Sound feature to dynamically adjust the volume of the incoming audio and ensure only you can hear the caller's voice.
The HONOR Magic4 Pro will be available for pre-order on May 13, 2022, on hihonor.com, Three, Currys, Amazon, Argos, and Carphone Warehouse at £949.99. Color options include Cyan and Black. Those pre-ordering the smartphone will get a special bundle worth £324 with the HONOR Watch GS3 smartwatch, a wireless charging dock, and a phone case. The HONOR Magic4 Pro will be available for purchase on May 27, 2022.
HONOR Watch GS 3
The HONOR Watch GS 3 is a new smartwatch inspired by traditional mechanical watches. It is made of 316L stainless steel, weighing only 44g, and features a new eight-channel sensor module for more precise heart rate monitoring. The smartwatch supports over 100 workout modes and has built-in L1/L5 Dual Frequency GNSS sensors for accurate route tracking.
The HONOR Watch GS 3 will be available for pre-order on May 13, 2022, on hihonor.com, Currys, Argos, Amazon, and Very at £209.99 for Classic Gold and Ocean Blue. The Midnight Black variant costs £189.99.
HONOR Earbuds 3 Pro
HONOR today also launched the all-new HONOR Earbuds 3 Pro, true wireless stereo earbuds with the "world's first coaxial dual-driver design with an 11 mm diameter dynamic driver and a piezoelectric ceramic tweeter" for rich and accurate sound with "booming" bass. The earbuds also support adaptive noise cancellation and fast charging.
The HONOR Watch GS 3 will be available for pre-order on May 13, 2022, on hihonor.com and Amazon for £169.99.
