HTC teases new handset for November 2 event

It was last week that HTC sent out invites to its November event that will be taking place in Taipei. Now, the firm has released a teaser image for the event that shows off a glimpse of the upcoming handset.

So far this year, HTC has released a few handsets, with the U Ultra and U11 being the more prominent out of the bunch. While the U Ultra was panned as an expensive monstrosity utilizing with an uninspired design and older hardware. In contrast, the U11 has fared quite well, outdoing its predecessors and receiving praise. While there has been quite a bit of speculation as far as what might arrive next month, one thing that is for certain is that we can see that it will have a fingerprint reader on the rear.

This is quite important because a majority of the current lineup of HTC handsets for 2017 has maintained its reader on the front of the device under the display. This design change could mean many things but we will just have to wait, albeit not too long, to find out.
