Leaked Google Pixel 5 specs point to Snapdragon 765G, 8GB RAM, and big battery

The first set of Google Pixel 5 renders leaked yesterday revealing its design. Some details on the specs of the handset have also been leaked now courtesy of Android Central.

The leak confirms that the Pixel 5 will come with a 90Hz 6-inch OLED display. Despite the slight bump in screen size, the Pixel 5 will measure roughly the same as the Pixel 4a thanks to its slimmer bezels. As for the Pixel 4a (5G), it will come with a 6.2-inch display but it is unclear if it will feature a high refresh rate panel or not.

As for internals, both Pixel phones will feature a Snapdragon 765G chipset, 8GB RAM, with the Pixel 5 coming with 128GB of storage. The Pixel 5 will feature dual rear cameras that include an ultra-wide angle shooter. The device will also feature a battery that's substantially bigger than the Pixel 4. It will also pack 15W Qi wireless charging and 5W reverse wireless charging support. It is unclear if the Pixel 4a (5G) will get wireless charging support or not and what its camera specs will be.

Google has already confirmed that it will launch the Pixel 5 alongside the 5G variant of the Pixel 4a later this fall. The latter will be priced at $499, though there's no word on the pricing of the Pixel 5. A rumor from earlier this week claimed that Google could announce the Pixel 5 on September 30th.
