Microsoft is selling the Surface Pro 6 + Type Cover bundle for $799

If you were thinking about buying Microsoft's Surface Pro 6 but you were worried about the additional expense of a Type Cover keyboard, you're in luck. Microsoft is offering the Surface Pro 6 + Type Cover bundle for just $799, $260 off of the normal price of $1,059.

The model that's on sale comes with a Core i5, 8GB RAM, and 128GB of storage, so it's the base model, which only comes in platinum. It also comes with the platinum Type Cover, which means it's a Signature Type Cover with the premium Alcantara fabric. If you purchase just this configuration of the Pro 6, it's going to run you $899, so this is a pretty good deal.

The other bundle that Microsoft offers is the black one with a Core i5, 8GB RAM, and 256GB SSD, and that comes with a black Type Cover, so it's not Alcantara. That bundle is not discounted at all, so that will run you $1,329.
