Microsoft offers free 3-month Hulu subscription with 'select Surface or PC' purchases

Microsoft is offering buyers of various devices in the US a free subscription to video streaming service Hulu.

Hulu provides access to TV shows and movies from a wide range of providers, including ABC, NBCUniversal, and FOX, among others, along with a limited selection of its own original content. The service is available across multiple platforms, most recently becoming one of the first companies to launch a Universal Windows Platform app on the Xbox One.

Until September 25, the Microsoft Store is giving a free 3-month subscription to Hulu with purchases of "select Surface or PC in a single transaction of a total aggregate amount of (US) $699 or more."

Buyers will be provided with a promotional code on qualifying transactions, which must be redeemed by October 31, 2016. Hulu subscriptions are usually priced from $7.99 a month.
