Microsoft showcases exploded Xbox 360 and more

Microsoft is up to something concering its hardware products. We just don't know what it is yet. Today on the Next at Microsoft blog site, the company showed a picture of an exploded Xbox 360 console with some of its hardware guts showing. It also showed images of the Xbox 360 controller, the Kinect device, the Microsoft Touch Mouse, a keyboard and a desktop camera add-on with similar views.

So what's going on? Microsoft's Steve Clayton writes on the blog, "Swing on by the What’s Next booth within the Microsoft booth at CES to find out more…or come back here on Thursday for a video that will explain all."

Hopefully our Neowin team will be able to find out what exactly is up with this teaser image when they head to the Microsoft booth when the exhibit floor opens on Tuesday. Is Microsoft planning to release a number of hardware products with clear cases where we will be able to see inside or is this something else entirely? As always we will update you with the latest when Microsoft decided to fully reveal what they have in mind.
