Microsoft unveiled today some new features that will be part of Windows 10 for phones. Among these the company showed off for the first time Spartan, running on a phone.

Unfortunately the company didn't spend too much time talking about the browser. Spartan on phones comes with a familiar clean UI, a point emphasized by the presenter. Then we saw the reading list functionality that allows users to strip away all the chrome on webpages and give users a clean reading experience.

Microsoft also talked about universal apps and Cortana, and also unveiled the brand new Lumia 640 at the event.
