Microsoft takes $50 off the price of some of its 1TB Xbox One S bundles

While we are still a month away from getting some more juicy details about Microsoft's next console, Project Scorpio, it appears the firm is offering up new deals on its Xbox One S console, slashing $50 off the price of select bundles.

Today, Xbox Wire revealed that the new promotion will be live on a few of its 1TB bundles like Xbox One S Halo Wars 2 Bundle, Xbox One S Battlefield 1 Special Edition Bundle, and the Xbox One S Gears of War 4 Bundle. While these bundles can be purchased directly from the Microsoft Store, they can also be purchased at other retailers like Amazon, Target, GameStop, Best Buy, and Walmart.

If those bundles above aren't to your liking or the price point is still a bit high, you can always settle for the Xbox One S Minecraft Favorites Bundle with 500GB of storage for $249. While the price of the various Xbox consoles bundles might be tempting, it might be a better decision to wait it out until June 11, when Microsoft will announce more details about its next console at E3 2017.
