Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 Update 4 RC is available to download now

Three months after announcing that it was working on Visual Studio 2013 Update 4, Microsoft made the Release Candidate for the new update available today, bringing various bug fixes and improvements.

Back in July, Microsoft rolled out its Release Candidate (RC) for Visual Studio 2013 Update 3, and revealed that it was already working on the next update to its suite of developer tools. Today, the company announced that Update 4 RC is now available to download.

The update brings with it a range of bug fixes and improvements, along with:

Visual Studio updates

Team Foundation Server updates

SQL Server updates

Along with Visual Studio Update 4 RC, Team Explorer Everywhere 2013 Update 2 and Visual Studio Tools for Unity 1.9.1 are also available to download today.

Microsoft says that these latest updates are "go-live" and can be used in production environments, but warns that "there may be some bugs that will be fixed for the final release."
