Dear Microsoft Windows Update Beta Tester,

Welcome to our Windows Update beta program!

You have done a tremendous job for the Microsoft Office beta program. As a result, we are now including you in the Windows Update beta program. We need your help to test upcoming Office System 2003 beta related content that will be delivered via the Windows Update site.

We will be providing support for this beta program through newsgroups and BetaPlace (https://www.betaplace.com). BetaPlace is Microsoft's technical beta web community where you can:

  • Download the beta released contents – by clicking on the v4beta program link on the Betaplace.com site.

  • Prior to entry of the v4beta site, you will need to set a registry value. Please

  • Go to the Downloads page (on https://www.betaplace.com) or

  • Go to https://content.test.windowsupdate.com and navigate to the Tools page

  • Download a tool application – regupdate*.zip – detailed instructions are located at the bottom of this mail.
