Amazon has begun offering a promotion that will allow you to rent any movie from its Instant Video collection for just $0.99. To access the offer, select a movie from Amazon.com, and under "More Purchase Options", enter the promotional code "MOVIE99".
While Instant Video tends to offer just about everything that you can think of, some movies - such as the entire Star Wars collection - are only available to purchase. There are tens of thousands of other options though, such as Suicide Squad, Jason Bourne, and The Secret Life of Pets.
The offer is limited to one movie-per-account, so while it's valid until January 23, you can't keep getting $0.99 rentals over and over. It can only be accessed on Amazon.com, which means that it's a US-only promotion.
The UK also has something that's called '99p Movie Nights on Amazon Video', but that's limited to a small selection of about 12 movies. Still, it's always fun to be able to watch good movies for cheap.
