In early November, PC Tools -- an Australian based Antivirus and PC performance and protection tools development and research company -- announced that they are releasing their products into the New Zealand market for sale.

The performance range features "Registry Mechanic" for repairing issues with the registry on PC's, and the "PC Tools Performance Toolkit." According to PC Tools, independent testing by Passmark found that the performance products "improve the experience of Windows 7, XP and Vista Users" by reducing boot time and speeding up overall performance.
