Registration for Microsoft's March Ignite conference is now open

Thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, Microsoft isn't holding any in-person events until later on this year. The company is also changing how it does digital events though, making them more frequent now that it doesn't have the overhead of in-person events. For example, Ignite was split up into two events, its usual fall conference followed by one in March.

Now, registration for the second part of Ignite 2020 is open. Being a virtual event, registration is free and anyone can sign up. If you're planning on attending, it's definitely worth registering now. For the virtual Build conference last year, Microsoft actually sent out swag to the first thousand attendees.

Microsoft isn't calling this Ignite 2020, Ignite 2021, or Ignite 2020 part two. The event just seems to be called Microsoft Ignite, without any branding to reflect when the event is taking place, although those dates happen to be March 2 through March 4.

You can expect the usual lineup of speakers, although Julia White and Brad Anderson will be noticeably missing, since they've both left the company. CEO Satya Nadella will be delivering the main keynote, and we'll also hear from Business Applications and Global Indistry CVP Alysa Taylor, President of Business Applications James Phillips, Microsoft 365 CVP Jared Spataro, Microsoft AI and Innovation Marketing CVP Mitra Azizirad, and Partner Program Manager Scott Hanselman.

If you want to register, you can do so here.
