Samsung has officially lifted the lid on its "most advanced" Galaxy Book lineup to date, introducing the Galaxy Book6 Ultra, Galaxy Book6 Pro, and Galaxy Book6 during CES 2026. The new range focuses on high-performance computing, on-device AI acceleration, and slimmer, more refined designs, positioning the Galaxy Book6 series at the top end of Samsung’s Windows laptop portfolio.
The devices are powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, built on Intel’s 18A process, apparently delivering up to 60 percent faster CPU performance compared to the previous generation. An integrated neural processing unit (NPU) capable of up to 50 TOPS enables fast, on-device AI features such as image editing, translation, and intelligent search without relying on the cloud. The Galaxy Book6 Ultra further raises performance with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 and 5060 Laptop GPUs, targeting creators, gamers, and power users.
To support the upgraded hardware, the tech giant has introduced a significantly upgraded thermal system. The Galaxy Book Pro series includes a vapour chamber, while the Galaxy Book6 Ultra features a larger, redesigned vapour chamber for more even heat distribution. Meanwhile, larger fins should deliver up to 35 percent better cooling efficiency while keeping noise levels low.

The Galaxy Book6 Ultra and Pro feature upgraded Dynamic AMOLED 2X touch displays, offering peak HDR brightness of up to 1,000 nits, adaptive refresh rates from 30Hz to 120Hz, and enhanced anti-reflective coatings. Furthermore, Galaxy AI plays a central role in the experience, with features such as AI Select, AI Cut Out, natural language search, and Note Assist, alongside tight integration with other Galaxy devices through Multi Control, Second Screen, and Link to Windows.
Audio has also received a notable upgrade, particularly on the Galaxy Book6 Ultra, which includes a six-speaker Dolby Atmos system with force-cancelling woofers and dedicated tweeters for clearer sound and reduced vibration. Battery life has also been extended, with the Galaxy Book6 Ultra and Pro offering up to 30 hours of video playback. Moreover, fast charging should allow the Ultra model to reach 63 percent capacity in 30 minutes.
Despite the performance gains, the new models are slimmer than their predecessors. The Galaxy Book6 Ultra measures 15.4mm, while the Galaxy Book6 Pro 16-inch comes in at 11.9mm. As for their availability, the Galaxy Book6 Ultra, Galaxy Book6 Pro, and Galaxy Book6 will be available in Grey and Silver in select markets from late January 2026, with a Galaxy Book6 Enterprise Edition arriving in April.
