Shadow of the Colossus was released over a decade ago on the PlayStation 2. While it isn't its first time getting a high definition makeover, the title will once again, emerge on a current generation console, being rebirthed with beautiful graphics.
Even a decade later, Shadow of the Colossus still remains a unique title, requiring players to explore an environment and defeat giant beings. While most games offer smaller minions and quests along the way, this game does not, and relies on the player to solely defeat multiple boss characters by figuring out their individual weaknesses.
While players can certainly get excited about a Shadow of the Colossus remake, the title will, unfortunately, not be out until sometime in 2018. Luckily, those that want to play something with a similar visual style will be able to indulge in the studio's more recent offering, The Last Guardian.
