Some low-end Lumia phones are getting a Windows Phone update

Those of you sporting low-end Lumias are in for a treat this morning, as Microsoft has pushed out a number of updates for such devices, including the Lumia 430 and 530.

Users who are checking for updates might be surprised to see some new version of Windows Phone 8.1 showing up. The new updates push the versioning numbers up to 8.10.14234.375, and are now available for the Lumia 430, Lumia 435, Lumia 530, 532, 535 as well as their dual-SIM variants.

As expected the updates don’t bring any major new features but that’s not to say they won’t be welcome. Stability improvements as well as better WiFi connectivity are included. Here’s the official changelog:

Latest software release for Lumia 430 Dual SIM is Lumia Denim (02074.00000.15234.280xx/8.10.14234.375):

•Improved WiFi connectivity.

•Improved support for installing apps to a SD memory card.

•Improvements to camera exposure and white balance settings.

•Additional improvements to stability, cellular connectivity, national roaming, and more.

Latest software release for Nokia Lumia 530/530 Dual SIM is Lumia Denim (02074.00000.15234.280xx/8.10.14234.375):

•Improved WiFi connectivity.

•Improved support for installing apps to a SD memory card.

•Additional improvements to stability, national roaming, and more.
