Sony debuts PlayStation Hits catalog with games priced at just $19.99

A week after E3, it appears that Sony is keeping the hype train rolling, this time with news that it will be releasing a select number of popular PlayStation 4 titles at a discounted rate under a new catalog dubbed 'PlayStation Hits'.

Sony has utilized this strategy in the past, using the 'Greatest Hits' branding and discounting popular games that were featured on the PlayStation, PlayStation 2, and PlayStation 3. The PlayStation Hits library will feature some heavy hitters like Bloodborne, The Last of Us, and Uncharted 4 - just to name a few. The games will be priced at $19.99 USD / CAD and will have a red banner on the packaging. The digital version of the game will be priced the same and will also have a red banner that will make it easy to identify.

The games you see in the image above will be available the U.S. PlayStation Store and retailers starting on June 28. Those in Canada will also have access to great deals but the game selection will be slightly different. Sony has stated that games will be added in the future, so keep a lookout for more deals to come.
