Surface Book 2 and Surface Laptop are now available to buy in India

The Surface Book 2 and Surface Laptop devices are now available to purchase in India via Microsoft Store, Amazon, Flipkart, and physical retail stores like Croma, Reliance, and Vijay Sales.

Microsoft announced earlier this year its plan to roll out both the 13-inch and 15-inch variants of the Surface Book 2 to international markets, which included India. Today, the Redmond-based giant has officially announced the launch of the 2-in-1 Windows 10 PC in the South Asian country along with the Surface Laptop, but at prices quite a bit higher than those in the U.S. will be expected to pay.

The 13.5-inch Surface Book 2 is retailing at ₹137,999 (~$2,011) for the base model, which ships with the Core i5 processor, 256GB of SSD storage, 8GB of RAM, and Intel HD Graphics 620. The same model costs $700 less in the United States, though Microsoft is currently slashing up to $300 off all models. The complete price list for the Surface Book 2 as sold in India is as follows:
