Surface Laptop with Core i7 will soon be offered in Burgundy, Cobalt Blue, and Graphite Gold

When Microsoft first showed off the Surface Laptop in May, it displayed four different colors for the device: Platinum, Burgundy, Cobalt Blue, and Graphite Gold. When pre-orders were live later that day, we learned that the latter three colors would only be available for the model with a Core i5, 8GB RAM, and 256GB of storage, and only in the US.

Since then, the colored variants have launched in other regions, but still only with a Core i5. The product listing has been updated in the US now, however, to show that they'll be coming soon for the i7 model.

It appears that the i7 variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage will still be Platinum-only, at least for now, but you'll be able to grab the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage model in Platinum, Burgundy, Cobalt Blue, and Graphite Gold. The Platinum one is already available for $2,199, so presumably the colored ones will be the same price.

Naturally, we've reached out to Microsoft to find out if there's a more specific release date that's not listed, and we'll update you if we learn anything.
