Surface RT shown off in episode of NCIS: Los Angeles

Microsoft's marketing attempts for its recently released Windows RT-powered Surface tablet just seem to be getting better as the device has been featured in an episode of NCIS: Los Angeles/ .

The Microsoft Surface tablet running Windows RT was released earlier this month and all pre-orders of the device have been shipped to consumers.

Whilst we know Microsoft is working hard at marketing the Surface tablet with excellently choreographed adverts, and by opening of temporary Microsoft holiday stores and allowing consumers to experience its tablet with Surface Experience Centres, very few people could have expected Surface being shown off in an NCIS: Los Angeles episode.

As you can see from the clip above, a quick demonstration is shown in the episode which shows off the lock screen, photo unlock functionality and the ‘click in’ touch cover and it makes Surface-less people like some of us here on Neowin want Microsoft’s new gadget even more.

Whether you feel the demonstration is scripted or not, no one can argue that seeing the tablet in the media isn't a very cool way of subliminal advertisement, because it quite clearly is.
