Mozilla will allow Firefox on Android users to install browser extensions directly from the Firefox Add-ons website in a few days. Firefox 85, the version that allows this, is due on January 25.
These add-ons amassed over 32 million downloads and were detected by Awake Security last month. The extensions claimed to warn users of malicious activity on websites or convert files' format.
Microsoft announced that the revamped Edge Add-ons page is now live for all users. It brings improved discoverability and navigation, better search results, and enhanced accessibility features.
A page with a list of Addons for what appears to be the Chromium-powered version of Microsoft's Edge browser has appeared online. There are a total of 82 extensions that are listed.
