Electronic Arts has announced it will cease all development of the iOS game Battlefield 3: Aftershock. The game was uploaded to the App Store in February but was pulled due to complaints about bugs.

Hoping to avoid a debacle of epic porportions, EA has pulled the unplayable Battlefield 3: Aftershock from the iOS App Store, in the digital equivalent of Atari burying E.T. cartridges in the desert.
