Google has announced that certain Workspace subscribers can now send end-to-end encrypted emails to anyone, regardless of the provider.

Client-side encryption in Google Sheets has moved to general availability, boosting data security and compliance with customer-managed keys.
Gmail's client-side encryption is now available on Android and iOS devices for eligible users. The security feature getting a rapid release is supported on select editions of Google Workspace.
Google is rolling out support for client-side encryption generally for some Workspace plans. The feature was initially tested as part of beta in December last year and is now officially out.
