Worldwide IT spending is set to grow by 8% next year according to the analyst firm Gartner. Cloud spending is set to be a big driver and spending on devices is predicted to increase too.

The analyst company Gartner has predicted that IT spending will increase by 4.3% this year, buoyed by enterprise IT spending. The consumer device segment will decline because of inflation.
Gartner has raised its worldwide IT spending prediction from $3.9 trillion in January to $4.1 trillion. It said IT spending will recover in North American and Western Europe by the end of the year.
The analyst firm Gartner has said that it expects IT spending by governments to increase by 5.1% this year as they invest more in devices and telecoms to let employees get work done from home.
