Canonical has said that the Dell XPS 13 Plus Developer Edition will be available in August, with Ubuntu. The system will be Ubuntu certified, meaning the hardware and software just work.

Dell is now shipping updated versions of its 'Project Sputnik' line of laptops that come with Ubuntu pre-installed, which also includes the company's professional-grade Precision laptops.
