Microsoft is updating the Authenticator app on Android and iOS to add security notifications. Sensitive changes such as password changes and unusual logins will trigger a notification on the app.

While Google already sends emails to let you know when a new device has accessed your account, it's now going further, with native security notifications on Android, rolling out to "all end users".
