Tesla's Big Battery at Geelong, Victoria, caught fire earlier today. The responsible authority has since deployed fire firefighting teams there, and a warning for the locals has also been issued.

Ahead of Tesla's Battery Day next month, Elon Musk has suggested that the U.S. electric carmaker may be able to produce life-longer batteries with 50% more energy density in next three to four years.
The 100-megawatt battery built by Tesla has been completed and is now ready for final testing. The battery is designed to support the power grid of South Australia over the coming Summer.
