Users in Europe will soon be able to connect with friends on third-party messaging apps, thanks to regulatory changes.
WhatsApp is currently working to add third-party chat support to its app. A new video has appeared on the web, showing the possible onboarding process of the underdevelopment feature.
While the feature is not yet operational, the latest WhatsApp beta release for Android does have a new "Third-party chats" section that will eventually allow the app to get messages from other apps.
