Twitter looks back at 2014

With the year coming to a close Twitter is taking a look back at the biggest moments of 2014 and how those were shared on the social network.

If you want to check out the year in review have a look at the network’s dedicated site. Here you can view the most important moment filtered by their subject such as Entertainment, News and Politics and so on.

Being in the middle of it you might have already forgotten but 2014 has been another of those years where so many major things happen at the same time. From unexpectedly losing two beloved actors, to global terrorism, to the disappearance of flight MH370, to the sudden rise and spread of Ebola there’s been a lot of misery and sadness to go around.

But let’s not forget about the constant fight for human rights, for equality, for a fair justice system, for women’s rights, for education, the constant improvement of science and technology and the hope for things being better have also been constant companions and positive signs this whole year.

So take a look back at what’s been going on and how recent events have changed all our lives.
