Ubisoft unveils Rainbow Six Quarantine, new sci-fi cooperative shooter

Ubisoft today announced Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Quarantine during its E3 presentation today, a brand new entry to the long-running series that's spun off from the popular competitive shooter Siege. Check out the announcement teaser trailer above.

Quarantine is an entirely cooperative shooter that teams up three-players to tackle a "mysterious threat infecting human hosts and their surroundings." The game is being developed by a new team inside Ubisoft Montreal.

Judging by the trailer, it could be building on the alien Outbreak mode that was available for a short period on Rainbow Six Siege. We also saw Ela from Rainbow Six Siege in the trailer, so its confirmed that operators from Siege will be showing up on this new title as playable characters, with Ubisoft drawing from the existing lore.

There isn't a firm release date attached to Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Quarantine yet, but Ubisoft did say it will come out Early 2020 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
