'Windows Hello' demoed on Lumia 950 XL

While preorders for the device have gone live in certain regions, we still have yet to get an official release date from Microsoft for the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL. Despite the unannounced date, Microsoft has been touting the Windows 10 Mobile handsets at preview events all around the globe and it looks like an attendee was able to try 'Windows Hello' on a demo Lumia 950 XL.

Although 'Hello' is still in beta, the setup process is similar to what you might find on a supported Windows 10 PC. If you choose to use Windows Hello, you must setup a PIN number just in case you are unable to login via recognition. Once the PIN is set and you train the recognition feature, your Lumia 950 XL will scan your eyes and if matched, unlock your device. As you can see in the video below, the process is simple and the recognition is almost instant.
