Windows Phone Mango roll-out for all carriers has started

Microsoft has updated their "Where's my phone update" page to announce that all carriers are now pushing out the Windows Phone Mango update. If you own a Windows Phone device, the update should be landing any moment.

While we have all waited what seems like an eternity after Microsoft showed off the new update, the updated goods should be arriving on your Windows Phone device in the very near future. The new update will bring over 500 new features to the platform and will generally improve the overall Windows Phone experience.

Microsoft has put in a lot of effort to get the roll-out to occur simultaneously across all carriers. This broad roll-out is good news for fans of Windows Phone as it shows Microsoft is committed to delivering one round of updates rather than the staggered updates that occurred with NoDo.

Windows Phone, while off to a slow start, has shown considerable gains with the latest update. With the holiday shopping season right around the corner and new hardware on the horizon, Microsoft is hoping for solid sales for the remainder of the year.
